Our Beliefs
  1. We are a local congregation of the church of Christ under the oversight of qualified elders who tend the flock, (Acts 14:21-23; 20:28). The elders have authority over the local congregation, (I Peter 5:2), and use as their standard of rule the inspired word of God, (I Timothy 3:16-17; Acts 20:28-31; Colossians 3:17).

  2. When we assemble on the first day of the week: we offer prayers of praise and thanksgiving, as well as supplication (request) to God, (I Corinthians 14:15). We sing (acapella) songs of praise to God, that will also teach and encourage one another, (Ephesians 5:19; Colossians 3:16). We remember the Lord through participation in communion (the Lord's Supper), just as the early church did, (Acts 20:7). Members of the congregation offer a contribution (give) of their means to support the work of the Lord, (I Corinthians 16:1-2) as the early church was given order to do. Bible reading and preaching of the word is practiced, as it was in the first century church, (II Timothy 4:1-2).
