I. THE CHRISTIAN WILL REALIZE HIS NEED FOR GOD :
A. Paul wrote; Romans 7:15
B. The Hebrew writer tells us; Hebrews 2:1-4
C. Cannot walk in sin; I John 3:9; 1:9
II. THE CHRISTIAN WILL RESOLVE NOT TO LET SIN REIGN IN HIS LIFE:
A. In the mortal body; Romans 6:12
B. Unrighteous cannot inherit life; I Corinthians 6:9-10
C. Jesus came offering life to mankind; John 10:10
D. A war between the spirit and flesh; I Corinthians 9:27
III. THE CHRISTIAN WILL RESOLVE TO FORM GOOD HABITS:
A. Read the word of God daily; II Timothy 2:15; Psalms 1:1-3
B. Pray daily; I Thessalonians 5:17
1. Access to grace by faith; Romans 5:1-2
2. God wants to hear from you; Philippians 4:6
3. God is able to answer your prayers; Ephesians 3:20
C. Do good deeds of service for the church:
1. Respect and honor leaders; Hebrews 13:7; I Thessalonians 5:12-13
2. Do all to the glory of God; I Corinthians 10:31
CONCLUSION:
A. To basic faith the Christian will add; II Peter 1:5-7
B. The fruit of the Spirit will be seen in the Christian; Galatians 5:22-25
C. Ask God and he will provide your needs; Philippians 4:19
