ARE YOU READY TO WORK?
Titus 3:1-11

I. SOME GOOD WORKS LISTED IN CONTEXT:
A. Be subject to principalities; Romans 13:1
B. Speak evil of no man; Titus 3:2
C. Do not be a brawler – “a contentious person”; Galatians 5:19-20
D. Be gentle and show all meekness; Titus 3:2
II. SOME GOOD WORKS ALL CAN DO:
A. If these are good works we are to be ready to do them:
1. Study; II Timothy 2:15
2. Pray; I Thessalonians 5:17
3. Worship God at every opportunity; Hebrews 10:25
4. Live right; Titus 2:11-12
B. Other good works:
1. Visit the sick and needy; James 1:27; Matthew 25:31-36
2. Encourage one another; I Thessalonians 5:14
3. Teach others; Acts 5:42
4. Give liberally; I Corinthians 16:1-2; II Corinthians 8:5
5. Stand for the truth; Ephesians 6:10
6. Show hospitality; I Peter 4:9
III. WHEN SHOULD WE DO THESE THINGS?
A. Daily; Luke 9:23
B. As we have opportunity; Galatians 6:10
