I.        WHO IS TO BLAME FOR THE SIN IN OUR LIVES? James 1:13-16

 

            A.        Jesus lived and died without sinning; I Peter 2:22; Hebrews 4:15-16

            B.         He became our example; I Peter 2:21; I Corinthians 11

            C.        He bore our sins on the tree; I Peter 2:24; Hebrews 2:9; Romans 5:8    

           

 II.        WHO IS TO BLAME FOR THE RELIGIOUS DIVISION IN THE WORLD?

             A.        Jesus died to reconcile all, both Jews and Gentiles, into one body; Ephesians 2:16; 3:6; Matthew 16:13-18;                                 I Corinthians 12:13

          C.        Marriage relationship is sacred; Ephesians 5:24-25

 

 IV.      WHO IS TO BLAME IF I AM LOST?

 

            A.        God has shown His love; John 3:16

            B.         God gave us a plan and certain promises; Matthew 28:19

                        1.         Jesus makes the individual responsible; Mark 16:15-16

                        2.         Paul in his letter to Thessalonica; II Thessalonians 1:7-9

                        3.         Jesus stated; John 5:39-40

 

CONCLUSION:

            A.        Jesus gave His life that you might live; Mark 10:45

            B.         To lay hold on life, you must accept Him on His terms; I Timothy 6:12
