I. “I WILL LOVE THEE”: Psalm 18:1

      A. Love for God gave David strength; Philippians 4:13: Psalm 18:2

      B. The “First Commandment”; Matthew 22:36-40

      C. Love for God demands obedience; John 14:15; I John 2:1-2; 5:2-6; 5:19-21

II. “THE LORD IS MY ROCK”: Psalm 18:2

      A. A solid foundation; Matthew 7:24-25; Isaiah 28:16

      B. A stronghold, a fortress, a deliverer; Colossians 1:13; John 14:6

      C. The Lord is my “buckler” defender; I John 2:1-2

      D. “The horn of my salvation”; Romans 1:16-18

III. “I WILL CALL UPON THE LORD”: Psalm 18:3

      A. The Lord saved David; Psalm 18:17-18, 30-32

      B. We too must call upon the Lord; Romans 10:11-15

      B. Have you received the “power” of Christ which will save your soul? Romans 1:16
