            A.        God has provided all we need to make heaven our home; II Peter 1:3

                        1.         He told Israel to choose her destiny; Deuteronomy 4:2

                        2.         Joshua told Israel to choose; Joshua 24:15

            B.        Whether we accept the word or not it stands true; II Timothy 2:14-19

                        1.         Each time we reject the word we choose condemnation; Revelation 21:18-19

                        2.         The word will judge us by the choices we make; John 12:48

            C.        Whether saint or sinner we must realize, “The Lord is My Helper”


I.          OUR TEXT:

            A.        Points out the importance of love and compassion; Hebrews 13:1-3

            B.        Tells us the importance of sexual purity; Hebrews 13:4

            C.        Encourages godly living; Hebrews 13:5

                        1.         Conversation is defined as “manner of living; lifestyle”; Philippians 4:8

                        2.         Godliness also intones contentment in life; Philippians 4:11

                        3.         Following spiritual leaders; Hebrews 12:7; I Corinthians 11:1

            D.        Realizing our need for the Lord will help us to maintain happy and healthy relations with others in Christ; Hebrews 13:5, 8



           A.         The Lord is ever present with those who obey Him; Hebrews 12:5

                        1.          He promised to be with us; Matthew 28:20

                        2.          He is faithful and will establish His followers; II Thessalonians 3:3

           B.         As God’s family we need have no reason to fear concerning things of this life; Hebrews 13:6

                        1.          Paul wrote; Philippians 1:20-23

                        2.          Paul encouraged Timothy; I Timothy 6:6-8

                        3.          Even in persecution the early church relied on God and boldly proclaimed Christ; Acts 5:41-42



            A.        God is our helper and promises to be with us at all times; Philippians 4:19; Hebrews 13:5

             B.       Will you not allow Him to give you His richest blessings? Ephesians 1:3
