I. A LOOK AT THE CONTEXT:

             A. The letter of Hebrews points man to Christ:

                           1. The Son, Christ, is better than angels; Hebrews 1:1-7

                           2. He is a better High Priest than Aaron; Hebrews 5:1-10

                           3. He is the bringer of hope; Hebrews 6:11-22 (19)

                           4. He is the greater sacrifice; Hebrews 9:11-14

                           5. He is the mediator of the New Testament; Hebrews 9:15

                           6. He is the perfect sacrifice, offering Himself once; Hebrews 10:12-14

                           7. He is the author and finisher of our faith; Hebrews 12:1-2

            B. Our text speaks of “A Kingdom Which is Unmovable”; Hebrews 12:28

II. ISRAEL AND THE CHURCH:

            A. The Mountain of God; Hebrews 12:18
