“Look unto Me, and be ye saved, all the ends of the earth: for I am God, and there is none else. I have sworn by Myself, the word is gone out of My mouth in righteousness, and shall not return, That unto Me every knee shall bow, every tongue shall swear. Surely, shall one say, in the Lord have I righteousness and strength: even to Him shall men come; and all that are incensed against Him shall be ashamed. In the Lord shall all the seed of Israel be justified, and shall glory” (Isaiah 45:22-25).

“For it is written, As I live, saith the Lord, every knee shall bow to Me, and every tongue shall confess to God” (Romans 14:11).

Paul told the brethren at Philippi to let the mind of Christ Jesus be in them. Jesus came to earth to save the human race. When Jesus completed His mission, fulfilling the prophecies found in the law, Paul told the brethren: “Wherefore God also hath highly exalted Him, and given Him a name which is above every name: That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth; And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father. Wherefore, my beloved, as ye have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling” (Philippians 2:9-12).

Isaiah told Jacob and Israel “I am the Lord, and there is none else, there is no God beside Me: I girded thee, though thou hast not known Me: (Isaiah 45:5). Isaiah warned the people of God that those who follow false gods would be confounded but that the obedient, those in Christ would have everlasting salvation (Isaiah 45:25). For salvation to be given Isaiah stated, “Assemble yourselves and come; draw near together, ye that are escaped of the nations: they have no knowledge that set up the wood of their graven image, and pray unto a god that cannot save. Tell ye, and bring them near; yea, let them take counsel together: Who hath declared this from ancient time? Who hath told it from that time? have not I the Lord? and there is no God else beside Me; a just God and a Saviour; there is none beside Me. Look unto Me, and be ye saved, all the ends of the earth: for I am God, and there is none else” (Isaiah 45:20-22).

Jesus paid the price for the soul of every human being (I Corinthians 6:20). His death on the cross should compel men to do His will in all things. Jesus stated, “And I, if I be lifted up from the earth, will draw all men unto Me” (John 12:32). Not everyone will benefit from the death of Christ: Some will reject Him and His word (Romans 1:16-18; John 12:44-50). Others will turn away from Him to follow the doctrines and commandments of men. Paul told the brethren at Colossae concerning false teaching and teachers “(Touch not; taste not; handle not Which all are to perish with the using;) after the commandments and doctrines of men? Which things have indeed a shew of wisdom in will worship, and humility, and neglecting of the body: not in any honour to the satisfying of the flesh” (Colossians 2:21-23). Paul warned the brethren at Galatia that to go back to the old covenant would cost them their relationship with God. He wrote, “Stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ hath made us free, and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage. Behold, I Paul say unto you, that if ye be circumcised, Christ shall profit you nothing. For I testify again to every man that is circumcised, that he is a debtor to do the whole law. Christ is become of no effect unto you, whosoever of you are justified by the law; ye are fallen from grace. For we through the Spirit wait for the hope of righteousness by faith. For in Jesus Christ neither circumcision availeth any thing, nor uncircumcision; but faith which worketh by love. Ye did run well; who did hinder you that ye should not obey the truth? This persuasion cometh not of Him that calleth you” (Galatians 5:1-8).

There will come a day when the world will have to appear before the Judge of the world. The scriptures tell us that man, from the beginning of the world, will appear to be judged. Paul wrote, “For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad” (II Corinthians 5:10). Matthew wrote concerning the judgment that some would enter into life everlasting while others would be cast into everlasting punishment (Matthew 25:31-46). Jesus stated concerning the unprofitable servant “And cast ye the unprofitable servant into outer darkness: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth” (Matthew 25:30).

John wrote, “And the kings of the earth, and the great men, and the rich men, and the chief captains, and the mighty men, and every bondman, and every free man, hid themselves in the dens and in the rocks of the mountains; And said to the mountains and rocks, Fall on us, and hide us from the face of Him that sitteth on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb: For the great day of His wrath is come; and who shall be able to stand?” (Revelation 6:15-17). When Jesus returns to earth every knee will bow and every tongue will confess the name of Jesus, some in fear and some with anticipation of a home in heaven.
